Lamer Watkins

Mr. Lamer E. Watkins, age 81 of Blue Ridge, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Watkins was born May 10, 1932 in Blue Ridge, GA. He was a member of Cherry Log Baptist Church. He had worked as an auto mechanic most of his life, loved camping and fishing. He was preceded in death by mother, Estelle Orton, Brothers, Roy Orton, and Troy Orton.

Survivors include: wife, Edna Watkins, daughter, Linda (Mark) Stewart, son, Michael (Theresa) Watkins, son, Randy (Gail) Watkins, grandchildren, Donna Gilliam, Aaron Sellers, DeWayne Watkins, Laura Sellers Oakley and Jeremy Watkins, great grandchildren, Harlee Gilliam, Madison Watkins, Tate Watkins, Hannah Sellers, Hope Watkins and Keely Piper.

Funeral services: Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Jim Gilliland officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
