Valerie Metcalf, age 55 of Blairsville, was called home on June 24th. No longer encumbered by her human body, she is transformed and is on an extended tour of all of Creation. She is truly loved!
Remaining behind for now is her: husband, James Metcalf, sons, Isaac and CalebMetcalf, parents, Lawrence and Sharon Hess, all of Blairsville, sister, Heather Hess, nephew, Justin Munro, both of California, her church family First United Methodist Church of Union County, and many other family and friends.
No viewing or funeral is planed; however, a music memorial is being planed for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society
Arrangements entrusted to the Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
