Alice Virginia Otwell

Mrs. Alice Virginia Otwell, age 85 of Morganton, passed away April 19, 2014 at Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Otwell was born September 6, 1928 in Meriwether, Co. GA to the late Leon Crook and Viola Rickles Crook. A member of Morganton Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by father & mother, Leon & Viola Crook.

Survivors include: husband, John T. Otwell, son & daughter-in-law, Dwight (Susan) Otwell, sister, Lucile Amon, grandchildren, Vana Crayton, Jeff Otwell, Vince Otwell & DeEtte LaCharite, great-grandchildren, Nicole Shepherd, Leah Crayton & Hattie Otwell, great-great-grandchildren, Connor Shepherd & Brody Shepherd.

Funeral services: Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Jones officiating. Music provided by:Mrs keith Jones. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
