Ann Hundley Brothers

Mrs. Ann Hundley Brothers, age 90,
passed away Sunday, September 24,
2017 at the home of her daughter in
Blairsville, GA where she has resided
since 2014.
Mrs. Brothers was a native of Isle of
Wight County, Virginia, the fifth of seven
children born to Charles Robert Hundley
and India Adeline Jones Hundley. She
was born January 18, 1927 and married
Donald Edwin Brothers on September
13, 1946.
Mrs. Brothers enjoyed gardening
and sewing, but most of all, reading her
bible in its entirety every year. She was
a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist
Church and a former member of Pine
Grove Assembly of God in Virginia.
Mrs. Brothers is survived by three
daughters, Pat McGaha [Gary] of
Blairsville, GA; Linda Jeffrey [Dave] of
Mechanicsville, VA; Betty King [Joe] of
Denton, TX; one son, Don [Debbie] of
Anaheim, CA; one brother, Quennon
Hundley [Fannie] of Chesapeake, VA;
10 grandchildren; 22 great-
grandchildren; and 3 great-great-
grandchildren.
Mrs. Brothers was predeceased by
her husband, Donald Edwin Brothers,
Sr.; her sister, Sue DeWitt; and her
brothers, Ryland, Glenn, Chester, and
Lennon Hundley.
Memorial services are planned for
October 1, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Shady
Grove UMC, Blairsville, GA. and for
October 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Tucker
Swamp Baptist Church, Zuni, VA.
