Ann Rogers

Ann Rogers, age 69 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Rogers was born Thursday, September 28, 1939 in Bryson City, NC. Ann worked for many years as a radio operator for the Georgia State Patrol. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Union County. Mrs. Rogers was preceeded in death by her mother, Helen Rose Helton.
Survivors include: husband, Don Rogers of Blairsville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Robby and Judy Rogers of Marietta, GA, daughter, Rena Rogers and her husband, Steve Duvall, of Kennesaw, GA, daughter, Jill McDaniel of Blairsville, GA, daugter & son-in-law, Stacy and Lawrence Fisher of Blairsville, GA, granddaughters, Amber, Hanna and Susanna Rogers and grandson, Dustin McDaniel. Many other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2008 from the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Jan Devereux officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Jeff Bauman. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Terry Rogers, Robert Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Gary Lance, Larry Lance and Milton Bradley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM, Friday, November 28.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Regency Hospice, 236 S. Main St., Hiawassee, GA 30546.
