Barbara Ann Baker

Barbara Ann Baker, age 79 of Blue Ridge, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at her home. Barbara was born May 14, 1938 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Alexander Gilliland and Helene Greensword Gilliland. Barbara was a RN for 33 years. She loved to travel and in her spare time she enjoyed genealogy, watching UConn Women's Basketball, cross stitch, puzzles, reading and volunteering her time. Survivors include her husband Ralph "Steve" Baker, son Larry (Becky) Baker, grandchildren Kasie and Ashley. She is also survived by her dear friends Angie Tankersley and Brenda Thistle.
