Bazelle Nelson

Bazelle Nelson, age 92, of Ducktown, passed away at his home on Monday, August 23, 2021. Mr. Nelson was born September 13, 1928, in Ducktown, TN, to the late Gus Nelson and the late Dovie Carver Nelson. He was a member and trustee of Ducktown United Methodist Church; he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Bazelle was preceded in death by his first wife, Deryl Womble Nelson, sister Mildred Nelson and brother Charles Ray Nelson.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Johnson Nelson, daughters, Susie Ensley and Donna Hubbard, brother Gene Nelson, grandchildren, Chris Hubbard, Lee Ensley, and Dustin Hubbard.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 4, 10:00 AM from the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens, with a celebration of life to follow at 12:30 PM from Ducktown United Methodist Church.
