Betty Ann (Wright) Friedhoff

Betty Ann (Wright) Friedhoff of Hayesville, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at her home.
Betty was a young 65 year old woman who worked as a CPA. Betty after retirement donated her time during tax season at The Hinton Center.
She was very active in playing golf, and also was president of the Women's Association at Chatuge Shores Golf Course. One of her many hobbies was motorcycle riding. She attended the Daytona Beach Rally, Sturgis Rally, and spent 30 days touring Alaska on her bike. Betty's other hobby was playing mahjong with her friends. When Betty would finally have some down time from her busy schedule she would read books, then enjoy meeting with her book club friends to discuss the books that they all read.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Bill Chambers and brother, Dale Chambers.
Family members include: Husband, Donald E. Friedhoff, mother, Hazel Teigeler of Hayesville, NC, daughter, Melissa Wright of St. Augustine, FL, son, Christopher (Christy) Wright of North Port, FL, step-daughter, Jennifer Friedhoff of Cincinnati, OH, 6 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 4 step-great grandchildren.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee with the Rev. Johnny Foster officiating.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service Saturday.
