Betty Jane Elberts, age 83, of Cherry Log, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin.
Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, David Vermillion and Virgil Jackenheimer.
Survivors include: husband, Edgar Elberts; son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Jophine Weatherall of Knoxville, TN; step-son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Lana Thurston of Proctorville, OH, sister, Mary Lou Patton of Ashland, OH; grandsons, Shayne Weatherall, Neale Weatherall, Gibbs Weatherall, Eric (Natalie) Thurston, and Alex (Emma) Thurston.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rusty Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2:00 p.m., Friday, November 30.
