Betty Ruth Grizzle

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces funeral services for Betty Ruth Grizzle, age 72, of Suches, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville.

Betty was a native of Suches and a daughter of the late Grady and the late Lizzie Grizzle. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Suches. Besides her parents, Betty had been preceded in death by two sisters: Sharon Sue Grizzle and Bertha Chambers; and three brothers: John Robert Grizzle, Calvin Grizzle, and Marvin Grizzle.

Betty had loving family members that will miss her so much: sisters: Lois Grizzle and Janell Grizzle, both of Suches and Wanda Gilstrap of Cleveland, Georgia; brothers: Joe Grizzle of Dahlonega, Georgia, Ralph Grizzle, Clyde Grizzle, and David Grizzle, all of Cleveland, Georgia; Charles Grizzle and Tony Grizzle, both of Suches, Georgia; and Donald Grizzle, of Hiawassee, Georgia; many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville. Nephews will be serving as pallbearers, and interment will be in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, starting at 12 noon at the funeral home, before the service starts.
