Mr. Bill Moody, age 80 of Suches, GA, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at his residence.
Bill was born Wednesday, November 21, 1928 in Waycross, GA to the late Tam Moody and the late Flora Rich Moody. He was a member of the VFW, a life member of the American Motorcycle Asso. and was a Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict. His greatest love was motorcycles. He was preceded in death by brother, Tam Moody and sister, Eleanor Duggan.
Survivors include: wife, Joan Moody of Suches, GA, a son, John Moody of FL, daughter, Deborah Wade of FL and sister, Jeanee Boland of Lakeland, FL.
No services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Georgia Mountains Hospice.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
