Birdie Craig Pierce, age 95 of Blue Ridge, passed away June 9, 2015 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Pierce was born May 26, 1920 in Blue Ridge, GA to The late John W. Craig and the late Bessie Williams Craig. A member of New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed flowers, reading, sewing and loving her family She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph "Clinton" Pierce, brothers, Home Craig and Clifford Craig and sister Clara Ray Pierce.

Survivors include: sons Johnny Pierce and Richard (Nancy) Pierce and daughters, Cyrilla (Larry) Petty and Clarcie Pierce, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Pastor Sammy Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brian Pierce, Corey Curtis, Dustin Curtis, Korben Johnson, Rodney Patterson & Tommy Herendon.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Thursday, June 11, 2015, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
