Brenda Martin Reece (Stalcup)

Mrs. Brenda Martin Stalcup Reece, age 70 of Andrews, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Reece was born November 17, 1942 in Murphy, NC to the late J. Roy and Pauline Martin Stalcup. A member of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah, she enjoyed traveling and writing in her spare time.
Survivors include husband, William Reece, children, Elaine Dockery, Leslie Reece (Wayne) Dobbs, Marty (Maria) Reece, sister, Rosalind (Dan) Hawk, grandchildren, Randall Keith Dockery, William Kevin Dockery and Bradley Martin Dobbs.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 3:00PM from Episcopal Church of the Messiah with Pastor Delmar Chilton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral home of Murphy Tuesday evening from 6 till 9 PM.
