Cecil E. Payne

Mr. Cecil E. Payne, age 72 of Marble, passed away May 30, 2015. Mr. Payne was born August 7, 1942 in Murphy, NC to the late Clarence Payne and the late Lola Mae Taylor Payne. Cecil was also preceded in death by sister, Edith Mason and sister, Emily Payne.

Survivors include: wife, Mary Payne, son, Scott (Mary ) Payne, son, Steve (Jean) Payne, step-son, James (Sally) Bartlett, step-son, Timothy Bartlett, step-son, Dale (Patricia) Bartlett, step-son, David (Amanda) Bartlett, sister, Ann Payne, sister, Carolyn (David) Duncan, sister, Edna (Jake) Duncan, Brother, Roy (Carolyn) Payne, Brother, Johnny (Freda) Payne, 6 grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with the Rev. Calvin Murphy and Rev. Bell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Monday, June 1, 2015, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
