Charlain Lowry Craciun, age 62 of Hiawassee, GA, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 at her residence.
Charlain was born Sunday, October 21, 1945 in Fulton County, Georgia to Zelma Dixon Petty of Monroe, GA and the late Charles Petty. She was a member of Clarkston United Methodist Church and The Eastern Star.
Survivors, including her mother, are her sons, James Gregory Lowry of Lawrenceburg, IN and Timothy Charles Lowry of Hiawassee, GA, brother, Charles Petty of Harrisburg, AK, sister, Jan Bingham of Hiawassee, GA, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Ledford and Pat Coleman officiating. Music will be provided by, Christopher Casbarro, Tommy King and Sandra Bishop. Interment will follow in Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: John Ashe, Jr. Chastain, Morgan Wheeler, Barry Heddon, Clint Turpin and Tony Turpin.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Friday, March 28.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Regency Hospice.
