Charles Huston Cook

Mr. Charles Huston Cook, Sr. age 88, of McCaysville, Georgia, passed away February 9, 2013 at the Northside Hospital in Atlanta GA. Mr. Cook was born May 4, 1924 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Fred G. Cook and Daisy Welch Cook. Charles was of the Baptist Faith. Charles was a U.S. Marine Aviator for 26 years serving in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Upon retiring from the Marine Corp. he worked at Lockheed Martin in Marietta GA for 16 years. His job had him traveling the world. He and his wife returned to the Copper Basin area 7 years ago after retiring from Lockheed.



Survivors include: wife, Betty Greene Cook, son, Charles "Chuck" H. Cook Jr.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Charles M. Duncan speaking. Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will meet with family and friends Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 10: 00 A.M. until time of the service.
