Christopher Garth Abbott, age 68 of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 in Knoxville, TN. Mr. Abbott was born June 16, 1952 in Salem, MA to the late Garth Abbott and the late Carrol Grant Abbott. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Abbott. Mr. Abbott was treasurer and faithful supporter of the Fannin County Special Olympics and a member of the Blue Ridge Arts Association. He loved the outdoors, walking, and enjoying nature.
Survivors include: Brother, Grant (Joyce) Abbott, sister, Mary Nesler, nieces, Amy Teet and Kimberly Conner, and nephews, Joshua Abbott, Geoffrey Abbott, Tom Bennett, and David Bennett.
