Ms. Claudia Jean Rex Beckum, age 63, of Hiawasse, GA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Ms. Beckum was born on June 28, 1954 in Macon, GA to Eugene Dale & Dorothy deJarnette Rex. She loved to read all things Stephen King and was an avid collector of things such as dolls, miniature perfume bottles and handmade birdhouses. She had a quick sense of humor and made everyone around her smile, even in awkward situations. Ms. Beckum dedicated her life as a registered nurse, spending most of her time in trauma care at the Brunswick hospital.
Claudia will be remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her family: Sons, Wesley Adam Beckum (Tamera) and John William "Billy" Beckum, as well as her father, Eugene Dale Rex and her sister, Jennifer Rex Von Almen.
