Clint A. Deal

Mr. Clint A."Brackett" Deal, Sr, .age 84, of Turtletown, TN, passed away April 30, 2014 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was born March 3, 1930, in Polk Co, TN to the late Bunyon Harley Deal Sr., and the late Blanch Cole Deal. He also was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Juanita Postelle Deal, son, Earl "Brian" Deal, brother, Harley, Deal, Jr.,sister, Josephine Deal Collins, sister, Harlestein Deal, brother, David Deal, and brother, Doug Deal.

Mr. Deal was employed at the Tennessee Chemical Plant as a miner. He enjoyed sitting with other men talking about days in the mines.

Survivors include: son & wife, Clint A .Jr. & Teresa Deal , daughter & husband, Sharon J.& Marvin Millwood, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.

Funeral services: Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Finch-Cochran Chapel with the Rev. Rene Whittenbarger officiating. Music will be provided by Mark Taylor ,and Janice Reed. Family will meet with family and friends on Saturday from 12:00 pm until time of services at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Turtletown, TN Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Deal, Ryan Deal, Rick Deal, Ray Hamby, Chad Boring and Rick Boring. Honorary pallbearers will be Bubby Deal, Ronnie Deal, Harley Loftin, Brandon J. Ray, Billy Joe Barnes, Thurm Hamby, Jim Collins, and Clint A. Deal III
