Corinne Beaver Hogsed

Mrs. Corinne Beaver Hogsed, age 88, of Blairsville, GA passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at her residence.

Corinne was born on June 8, 1921 in Union County, GA, to the late Monroe and Dessie Collins Burnett. She was a member of Ivy Log Baptist Church and the Retired Teachers Association. Corrine was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Beaver, brothers, Monroe Burnett Jr.and Durane Burnett.

Survivors include: husband, Herman Hogsed of Blairsville, GA, daughter, Linda Beaver of Blairsville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Troy and Susan Beaver of Blairsville, GA, step-daughter and husband, Sandra Hogsed and Bill Carl of Palm Bay, FL, brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Frankie Burnett of Gaston, AL, grandsons, John Charles Berry and Lee Beaver, granddaughters, Eartha Lee and Sara Currie, step-grandsons, Jonathan Carl, Richard Taylor Tate and Clay Tate, great granddaughter, Hannah Clare Currie, great grandson, Ian Carter Berry and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 11, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Ivy Log Baptist Church where the body will lie in-state at the church from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Karnes, Rev. Tony Black and Dr. Don Pruitt officiating. Music will be provided by, Ken and Elaine Young. Pallbearers will be, Lee Beaver, Melvin Harper, JR Hogsed, Harold Ledford, TJ Plott and Michael Thompson. Burial will follow in Ivy Log Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will recive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
