Darlene Box

Darlene Box, age 95 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away April 17, 2020, in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Box was born November 11, 1924, in Dearborn, Indiana to the late Andrew Cox and the late Bertha Mae Howard Cox. A US Army veteran of WWII, Mrs. Box enjoyed working and being of help to others. She retired after many years of service at the WC Bradley company in Columbus, GA. After retirement, she continued to serve through her church and various community service organizations in Blue Ridge, GA. Darlene enjoyed her pets, gardening, her neighbors and friends. Mrs. Box was a faithful Lutheran and loved all of her family deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Henry Box.

Survivors include: son, Darwin (Linda) Box of Tallahassee, FL, granddaughters, Dawn Givens and Denise (Brad) Klees, great-grandchildren, Jay (Lindsey) Klees, Morgan Klees and Walker Klees, and great-great grandson Gabriel Klees.

Funeral services: Friday, April 24, 2020, at 10:30 am at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
