David Wayne Bailey of Murphy, NC passed away, Saturday June 4, 2011 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, at the age of 67 due to heart complications.
He was born July 30, 1943 in Copperhill TN and gave his heart to God August 18, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Golden Bailey and Allen Lee Bailey, brothers, William (Bill) Bailey, Tommy Bailey and a sister Joyce Bailey.
He had resided for the past four years in Carolina Care Homes in Andrews, NC where he made many friends. He loved looking at antique cars and magazines and watching John Wayne movies.
Survivors include his brother Francis Allen Bailey and wife, Charlotte, nephews Jeff Bailey and wife Angie, Phillip Lee Bailey and wife Sandy and niece Brigitte Eisele and husband John. Several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday June 7, 2011 at 2:00PM at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home in McCaysville, Ga.
