Mrs. Deborah Lynn Shearous, age 40 of Morganton, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at her home.
Mrs. Shearous was born Thursday, November 2, 1967 in Dekalb County, Georgia to the late Richmond Lance and the late Marilyn Mills Lance. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, GA.
Surviving Deborah are her: husband, Don Shearous, daughters, Chirsty Shearouse, Carolyn Shearouse, and Caitlyn Shearouse, son, Thomas Shearouse, all of the home, sister, Connie Keiger of Morganton, GA, sister & brother-in-law, Dianne and Daniel Abernathy of Murphy, NC, step-mother, Ruth Lance of Morganton, GA, maternal grandmother, Lora Lance of Morganton, GA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Swafford, Rev. Jeff Deaver, and Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Charles Delaigle, Tony Prickett, Terry Dowell, Tim Dowell, Stanley Dowell and Brian Stanley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Friday, December 7.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to: Union County American Cancer Society, PO Box 2984, Blairsville, GA 30514.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
