Mrs. Delores Dean, age 60 of Morganton, GA, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Delores was born Tuesday, October 12, 1948 in Fannin Co. Ga. to the late Hayne B. Adams and the late Magglee Hooper Adams. She was a member of Toccoa Baptist and owned Floral Creations Flower Shop. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melony Lynn Ritchie.
Survivors include: husband, James Barry Dean of Morganton, GA, son & daughter in law, Nelson & Carmen Dean of Huntington, Ind., granddaughters, Johanna Bivins, Ellen Nicole Bell and Magalie Dean, grandson, Wyatt Dean, great-grandson, Hunter Bell, sister, Rachel Campbell of Blue Ridge, sister, Fran Rutz of Phenix City, Ala.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jimmy Ritter and Reverend Grady Ray officiating. Music will be provided by Jimmy Ritter, Angie Buchanan and Oscar Henry. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers are: Roger Adams, Bruce Dillinger, Billy Standridge, Jamie Ryan, Ray Richie, Cliff Kingrey.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6-9 PM and Saturday from 5-9 PM.
