Dionne Galloway, age 63, of Epworth, GA passed away February 8, 2012 at her home following an extended illness. Dionne was born in Copperhill, TN to the late Charles Edmund and Geneva Davenport Sisson, She was a lifelong resident of Fannin County.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Mickey Galloway; sons and daughter-in-law, Russell and Tracey Galloway of Epworth,GA and Colby Galloway of Epworth; grandchildren, Kody Galloway of Epworth, GA and Kolton Galloway of the home, Hailey Galloway and Landon Galloway of McCaysville, GA; twin sister, Denise Keegan of McCaysville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Linda Sisson of Blue Ridge, GA; two special aunts, Evelyn Davenport of the Life Care Center of Copper Basin,and Ruthie Tatum, of Highlands, NC; nieces and nephews also survive.
Dionne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved people and spent many years in the insurance business, first with State Farm and than as an independent agent, in Copperhill, TN.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 10, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church of Epworth with Rev. Tom Jordan officiating.and music will be provided by Rev. Doug Simonds. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in state from 12:00 noon until the service at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
