Donald M Reece

Donald M. Reece, age 65 of Blairsville, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at his home. Mr. Reece was born June 10, 1950 in Cumming, GA to the late James Reece and Opal Fowler Reece. Donald was a resident of Union County for the past 22 years, moving from Woodstock, GA. He enjoyed playing his guitar, building houses and working on automobiles.

Survivors include: wife, Faye Reece, mother, Opal Fowler Reece of Alpharetta, GA, daughter, Anne (Tim) Bryan of Ellijay, GA, son, Justin (Araia) Reece of Atlanta, GA, step-daughter, Lisa (Jake) Breakwell of Acworth, GA, sister, Charlotte Reece of Alpharetta, and grandchildren, Sarah Bryan, Trent Reece, Taryn Reece, and Emily Breakwell.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Humane Society Mountain Shelter, 125 Wellborn St.. Blairsville, GA 30512

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service begins.
