Dorothy Marie Howard Patterson, age 55, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Patterson was born in Acworth, Georgia, on Wednesday, August 17, 1955, a daughter of the late Odell Howard and Rose Petty Howard. She was a manager at a metal roofing company, and had attended Grace Baptist Church in Hayesville, North Carolina. Her father, Odell Howard, preceded her in death.
Surviving family members include her husband, James W. Patterson, of Blairsville; her mother, Rosie Howard, of Kennesaw, Georgia; two children: Cynthia Lee Slinker, of Edmonton, Kentucky, and Vernon Millwood, of Cartersville, Georgia; siblings: James Howard of Acworth, Georgia; Jimmy Howard, of Felton, Georgia; Sandy Simmons, of South Carolina; Sarah Millwood, of Kennesaw; Judy Dageman, of Jasper, Georgia; and Marie Fowler, of Michigan; two grandchildren, Katelyn Schiver and Michael Millwood.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at Faith Baptist Church in Blairsville, with Rev. Wayne Matheson officiating.
