Mrs.Effie Payne Patterson, age 95, of Ducktown, TN passed away January 18, 2010 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin in Ducktown, TN.
Mrs.Patterson was born on October 2, 1914 in Fannin County, GA, to Simon and Mary N. Ensley Payne. She was a member of Mt. Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs.Patterson was preceded in death by her husband Truman Patterson, and her daughters, Mary Lou Nichols, Katherine Pansini, and Margie Thomas.
Survivors include: sister, Martha Baxter Lloyd of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Carl Payne of Chatsworth, GA, and Mark Payne of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, Funeral services will be held , January 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Johnny Payne officiating. Music will be provided by Travis Couch. Burial will follow in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
