Mrs. Elizabeth Caroleen Morgan, age 64 of Murphy, NC, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Morgan was born Thursday, September 14, 1944 in Macon County N.C to the late Grady McGaha and Ruth Ellen Morrison McGaha. She was a member of Murphy Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Husband, Paul Edward Morgan Sr. May 1, 2007.

Survivors include: mother, Ruth McGaha of Andrews, daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth & Bill Almond of Marble, N.C., daughter & son-in-law, Lily & Michael Barnes of Marble, son & daughter-in-law, Paul E. & Shelly Morgan of Murphy, daughter, Linda Sue Morgan of Murphy, son & daughter-in-law, Marion R. and Stephanie Morgan of Murphy, granddaughter & husband, Stephanie & Jimmy Krokonko, Haylee Krokonko, grandson, Justin Barnes, great-granddaugher, Hayle Krokonko, brother & sister in law, Jimmy & Doris McGaha of Brevard, sister & brother in law, Freda & J. L. Coffey of Murphy, brother & sister in law, Michael & Mary McGaha of Andrews, sister, Gaitha McGaha of Andrews, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 8:00 PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Paul Ray Morgan and Reverend Todd McKinnon officiating. Interment will follow in Vengence Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 5-8 PM.
