Eller Anderson (Garrett)

Geneva Eller Anderson, age 92 of Hiawassee, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Mrs. Anderson was born February 17, 1920 in Hiawassee, GA to the late Sam Garrett and the late Elafair Wheeler Garrett. She was a lifelong resident of Towns County and a member of the North Mt. Zion Church of God. Mrs Anderson loved to work in her gardens, both growing vegetables and flowers. When she could not be in her garden, she was sewing, quilting and crocheting and made many beautiful quilts and other works of art. She was preceded in death by first husband, C.N. Eller, second husband, R.L. Anderson, daughters, Virginia Ledbedder and Lillian Eller, great grandson, Darren Seagle, step-son, James Anderson, sister, Ruth Chambers, and Brothers, Hubert Garrett and Paul Garrett.

Survivors include: daughter, Otus Lee Gibson of Tiger, Georgia, step-son, Billy Lee Anderson of Hiawassee, step-daughter, Nola Jean Nichols of Hiawassee, grandchildren, Lesia Parker, Angela Milian, Dena Dixon, and Leta Lovell, step-grandchildren, Tammy Anderson, Scott Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Robby Nichols, Michael Anderson, Dale Anderson, and Randy Anderson. Many great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services: Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee with the Rev. Glenville Nichols officiating. Music will be provided by: Spirit Bless. Interment will follow in Boyd's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers: Scott Anderson, Robby Nichols, Dale Anderson, Randy Anderson, Derrick Parker, and Christopher Justus.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Friday, October 05th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
