Esther Faye Mcdougal

Cochran Funeral Home - Hiawassee Chapel announces services for Clarence Eugene McDougal, age 68, and his wife, Esther Faye McDougal, age 67, of Hiawassee, GA, and Old Town, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Lowndes County, Georgia, from injuries they sustained in an automobile accident. They were members of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, and Mr. McDougal was a minister.

Surviving family members include: son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Karen McDougal, of Old Town, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Lisa McDougal, of Trenton, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Doug Deremer, of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Doug Anderson, of Old Town; and daughter and son-in-law Kim and Joe Vartuli, of Hiawassee. Clarence McDougal's mother: Reba, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; and his sister, Linda Hunt, also of Muscle Shoals; Mrs. McDougal's two sisters: Barbara King, and Louise Aycock, both of Leighton, Alabama; and two brothers: Kenneth Bailey and Dan Bailey, both of Alabama; Ten grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., on Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Lower Bell Creek Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 10th.
