Ethel Prince

Ethel Margaret Stephens Prince, a lifelong resident of Fannin County, was born Friday, December 31, 1915 and died October 6, 2008 at Heritage Healthcare of Blue Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Prince: parents, William Junius (Junie) and Margaret Rosalie (Maggie) Butt Stephens: sister, Pauline Stephens Kirby: and brothers Victor Stephens, Brisco Stephens, Guy Stephens, and Joseph Stephens. Survivors include her sister Anne Stephens Hazlett of Mars Hill, NC and many beloved nieces and nephews (especially Jerry Davenport and Becky Zachary Hamilton): cousins, caregivers, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Allen McClellan officiating. Music will be provided by Gina Ledford. Interment will follow in Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Hank Zachary, Richard Davenport, Larry Davenport, Danny Kirby, Jefferey Davenport, Dane Kirby.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, October 8, from 6-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be sent to Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Mrs. Jane Pate, P.O. Box 3, Morganton, Georgia 30560.
