Evelyn Jane Millsaps

On Saturday, April 10, 2021, our beloved mother, Evelyn Jane Winters Millsaps, age 74, went home to be with our Lord Jesus. She was the daughter of George and Ellen Irene(Mounts) Winters. She was the baby girl among five brothers, George Creatus(Chuck), Donald, Kenneth, Harry Richard (Rick), and Maynard. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Chuck and Rich. She was the mother of four daughters, Charlene, Charlann, Alexis, and Janie. She had twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. During our mothers' life, she was faced with many challenges over the years, and she shared her love for the Lord with many. Her passion, devotion, and dedication were aspiring to others. She will be loved and missed greatly because she was a great listener and confidant.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021, from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Murphy, with Pastor Aud Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home in Murphy, NC.
