Evelyn Kilpatrick

Evelyn R. Kilpatrick, age 97, of Copperhill, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the Life Care Center in Ducktown. Mrs. Kilpatrick was born July 29, 1921, in Mitchell County, GA, to the late Elton Fred Rackley and the late Georgia Akridge Rackley. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to her mother and father, Mrs. Kilpatrick was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Kilpatrick, Sr., and daughter-in-law Brenda Kilpatrick.

Survivors include a son, Jess Kilpatrick, Jr., granddaughter, Michelle and Robert Young, grandson, Jeff and Tracey Kilpatrick, great-grandchildren, David and Jodie Walker, Lesley and Brad Stoothoff, Lindsey and Wally Schreiber, Kimberly and Josh Odom, Andrew and Brittney Kilpatrick, Preston and Rachel Young and Michael Moore, great-great-grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Annalee, Adelyn, Elijah, Riley, Lane, Charlee, Olivia, Blakely, and Layton.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy, NC, with Rev. Robert Young officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Kilpatrick, Theron Rackley, David Walker, Preston Young, Michael Moore, Zach McIntyre, and Mickey Guenther.
