Mr. Robert Frank Stahlkuppe, age 90 of Hiawassee, GA, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Chatuge Regional Hospital.
Mr. Stahlkuppe was born Sunday, May 20, 1917 in Cherokee Co., NC to the late Charles Bowers and the late Ella Josephine Hall Stahlkuppe. He well known as an active Gunsmith in this area, He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Stahlkuppe in 1999.
Survivors include: son, Dr. Robert and Cheryl Stahlkuppe of Hiawassee, GA, daughter, Carol and Bob Moffit of Hiawassee, GA, daughter, Ellen Stahlkuppe of Hiawassee, GA, sister, Arralu Russell of Alpharetta, GA, grandson, Miles Moffit of Athens, GA, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 30, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Shelton officiating. Music will be provided by his niece, Cheryl Russell and Johnny and Jimmy Hogsed.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-6, Saturday, December 29.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
