Mrs. Geneva Couch Harris, age 63 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Union General Hospital. Mrs. Harris was born Wednesday, May 30, 1945 in Fannin County Georgia to the late Fred Couch and the late Elizy Cole Couch. A member of Cherry Log Baptist Church, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include: husband, Kenneth Harris of Blue Ridge, son & daughter-in-law, Rick & Jennifer Harris of Cape Girardeau, MO, daughter & son-in-law, Tammy & Anthony Falls of Murphy, NC, son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Elizabeth Harris of Redding, Calf., sister, Shirley Dodson of Blue Ridge, brother, Charles Couch of Mineral Bluff, grandchildren, Scott, Mason, Michael, Laura, Landon, & Elizabeth Harris.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 4:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend J.D. Thomas & Reverend David Mashburn officiating. Music will be provided by Teresa Stepp. Graveside Service will follow in Cherry Log Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Doyle Davis. Serving as pallbearers are: Chris Couch, Darvin Couch, Gary Foster, Ernest Harris, Randy Harris, & Ronnie Thomas. Honorary pallbearers include: Members of Cherry Log Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 9 from 6-9 PM.
