George Andrew Bell

Mr. George Andrew Bell, age 90 of Mineral Bluff, passed away March 3, 2015 at his home. Mr. Bell was born July 8, 1924 in Culberson, NC to the late Joseph Bell and the late Carolyne DeWeese Bell. He was preceded in death by father, Joseph Bell, mother, Carolyne Bell, wife, Madelyn Bell, wife, Jean Bell, sister, Jean Cannon, sister, Evelyn Jones, sister, Mary Enlow, sister, Alice Luff, Brother, Louis Bell, Brother, Marvin Bell, Brother, Paul Bell. George was an engineer in the aero space industry where he worked for Nothrup Aviation. After retiring he was active as a farmer and cattle rancher.

Survivors include: son, Edward Bell, Brother, Theodore "Ted" Bell, and 3 Grandchildren.

Funeral services: Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Reverend Butch Jones and Reverend Allan Tar officiating. Music provided by Raven Welch. Interment will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dennis Hoffman, Ed Bell, Bryan Denton, Tommy Bell, and J.R. Dunkley. Honorary pallbearers: Roger Long, J.C. Owenby, Steve O'Neil, Robert Brown, Mike Archambault, Mike Hafer, Russell Long, and Roy Clore.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, March 6, 2015, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
