Geraldine Plott Spiva, age 80 of Blairsville, GA passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 at her residence.
Geraldine was born June 5, 1929 in Blairsville, GA to the late Claude and Flossie Owenby Plott. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was preceded in death by husband, W.C. Clyde Spiva, two brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Gayle & Harold Cunningham, son & daughter-in-law, Eddy & Judy Spiva, sister & brother-in-law, Zel & Wayne Henderson, sister, Lois Dyer, brother & sister-in-law, Harold & Patricia Plott, sister & brother-in-law, Betty & Jack Kelley, grandsons, Scott Dyer and Chad Spiva, granddaughter, Nikki Spiva, great grandchildren, Savannah Dyer and Tristin Dyer all of Blairsville, special friends, Kim, Jerry, Jessica and Jake Farner and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May16, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Henderson officiating. Music provided by, Freddy Burrell. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Michael Plott, Allen Plott, Jake Farner, Jamey Plott, Jerry Farner and Larry Henderson. Honorary pallbearers include, Phil Kelley, Louis Henderson and Leonard Sosbee.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 6-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to, Regency Hospice.
