Gregory Alan Roper

Gregory Alan Roper, age 63 of Blue Ridge, passed away August 28, 2021, at his home. He was born March 3, 1958, in Monterey, CA to Floyd Roper and the late Anna Ruth Anderson Roper. Greg was a member of Temple Baptist Church, he had worked as a heavy equipment operator on petroleum pipelines enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing, he was preceded in death by mother, Anna Ruth Roper.

Survivors include: his father Floyd Roper, brothers, Terry Roper, Jeff Roper, nieces and nephews, Jennifer Barns, Jason Roper, Daniel Roper, Mackenzie Roper, great-nieces and nephews, Aden Jones, Hunter Barnes, and Allie Barns.

Funeral services: Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
