Gregory Lee Nichols, age 44 of Mineral Bluff, Ga, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2008 at his home. Greg was born Sunday, May 10, 1964 in Polk Co. Tenn. to the late Walter Nichols and the late Mary Patterson Nichols. He was a member of Mineral Bluff Baptist. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: grandmother, Effie Patterson of Ducktown, special aunt, Martha Boxer Lloyd, several nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2008 at 5:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Randy Hughes officiating. Music will be provided by Shelia Thomas. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers are: Wayne McClure, Jerry Justus, Billy Nichols, Bobby King, Jason Bradburn and Jimmy Nichols.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Monday, October 20, 3-5 PM.
