Hall Stanley

Mr. Hall Stanley, age 80 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 at Heritage Health Care Of Blue Ridge. Mr. Stanley was born Thursday, October 27, 1927 in Fannin County, GA to the late Walter Stanley and the late Mary Belle Messer Stanley. Hall was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Stanley, Jr., Sonny Boy Stanley and Curtis Stanley and sister, Virginia Messer.

Survivors include: wife, Betty Stanley, daughters & sons-in-law, Brenda and Jackie Cochran and Vickie and Larry Wright, sons & daughters-in-law, Joey and Alisa Stanley and Gary and Betty Jo Stanley, all of Blue Ridge, GA, sisters, Lois Nelle Long and Eugene Davenport, both of Blue Ridge, GA, Winnie Dillingham of Morganton, GA, Helen Tipton of Blue Ridge, GA, and Flora Belle Mashburn of Morganton, GA, sisters in law, Gladys Stanley of Woodstock, GA, and Elavie Miller of Blue Ridge, GA, grandchildren, Marty and his wife Jennifer Wright, Kevin Cochran, Natasha, Heath, Jarrod and Brady Stanley and one great grandchild, Nathaniel McClure. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Collis and Rev. Wallace Parks officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers are: Marty Wright, Kevin Cochran, Natasha Stanley, Heath Stanley, Jarrod Stanley and Brady Stanley. Honorary pallbearers include: Calvin Lunsford, Alfred Davenport, Raymond Montgomery, Howard Long, Gene Crawford, Marvin Young, Frank Drummonds and Cecil Davis.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 PM, Saturday, October 11 and from noon until 9 PM on Sunday.
