Harold W. Ross

Mr. Harold W. Ross, age 77 of Blue Ridge, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Mr. Ross was born February 21, 1934 in Fannin County, GA to the late John Ross and the late Ada Wilson Ross. He was a member of McCaysville Church Of Christ, a US Army Korean Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include: wife, Jonnie Rackley Ross, son and daughter-in-law, Greg (Gwen) Ross, son and daughter-in-law, Tony (Kara) Ross, son and daughter-in-law, Timmy (Christina) Smith, brothers, Kenneth Ross, Marion Ross and Robert Ross, sister, Mae Fair, grandchildren, Jennifer Turnquist, Amy Ross, Kevin Ross, Natalie Ross, Nicholas Ross, great-grandchildren, Raleigh Turnquist, Noah Turnquist and Lucas Turnquist.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones, Minister Rick Jones and Minister Keith Ritchie officiating. Interment followed in Epworth Baptist Church Cemetery with military rites conducted by the North Ga. Honor Guard.
