Helen Carzell Stiles, age 83 of Turtletown, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Stiles was born Wednesday, June 11, 1924 in Polk County Tenn to the late R.W. Payne and the late Carrie Grizzle Payne. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church who enjoyed crochet, knitting and cooking.
Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Danny & Jennifer Stiles of Turtletown, sister, Lana Nicholson of Turtletown, granddaughter, Carrie Ann Styles, grandson, Mark Clayton Styles, grandson, Paul Benson Stiles, granddaughter, Sarah Stiles and great-granddaughter, Katlin Myra Stiles.Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 23, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Sisson and the Rev.W.L. Shipman officiating. Music will be provided by Janice Reid. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Roger Hensley, Jimmy Payne, Munk Nicholson, Glen Hughes, Mark Taylor, Tommy Adams. Honorary pallbearers include: .
