Helen W. Long Long, age 87, of Ducktown, TN passed away December 4, 2009 at her home.
Helen was born on May 21, 1922 in Polk County, TN, to Luther and Mary Elizabeth Long. She was a member of Ducktown United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by father, Luther H. Long, mother, Mary Elizabeth Long, sister, Ruby Long, sister, Mona Long, brother, Warren G. Long, and sister, Louise Long.
She had retired from Citi Service Company.
Survivors include: brother, Luther H. Long, Jr. of Ducktown, TN; sister, Mildred Long Rylee of Snellvillle, Ga; nieces, Ruby Jean Brown, Kathy Cherry, Susie Ballew, Betsy Smith, and Malinda Craig; nephews, John H. Rylee, and Luke Rylee.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Renny Whitenbarger officiating. Music will be by Rev. Keith Smith. Pallbearers will be Joe Ballew, Jeff Smith, Richard Craig, Luke Rylee, T.J. Stevens and Billy Joe Barnes. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery .
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers you may make donations to the United Methodist Church of Ducktown.
