Helen Ruth Callihan

Helen Ruth Callihan, age 89, of Snellville, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 . She was born April 9, 1926, in Copperhill, TN, to the late Lon Williams and Alma Davis Williams. She was a member of White Oak Hills Baptist Church in Stone Mountain. Mrs. Callihan retired from Sears after 42 years of service. She enjoyed working in her flowers, and doing yard work. Mrs. Callihan was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Turner, June Simonds and Betty Sparks, her grandson, Cooper Bulloch.

Survivors include: her husband, J.L. Callihan, son, Richard (Tammy) Callihan, daughter, Linda (Bo) Bulloch, sister's, Edna Randall, Dottie Arp, Marie Satterfield, Loretta Nazerian, Mary Arp, Carol Coley, brother, Jerry Williams, grandchildren, Jordan Gogan, Blake Callihan, Reed Gogan, Julie Callihan, great grandchildren, Bryce Gogan, Elam Gogan, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Monday, January 4, 2016, at 1:00 pm, at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, with the Rev. Terry Callihan officiating. Music provided by: Vicki Whittenbarger . Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Jordan Gogan, Blake Callihan, and Reed Gogan.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville on Sunday, January 3, 2016, 4:00 pm.
