James Edward Holland

James Edward Holland, age 89, of Hiawassee, GA, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his residence.
James was born in Winamac, IN, a son of the late Vern and Myrtle (Jones) Holland. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors are: wife, Frances Holland of the home; son, James Holland II, of Kenly, NC; daughter, Connie Cupit of Hiawassee, GA; two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA in charge of arrangements.
