James L Barlow

James Lloyd Barlow, age 93, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020. He was born November 27, 1926, in Sidney, OH, to the late James Barlow and the late Leana McClendon. Mr. Barlow had been a resident in Andrews, NC for 20+ years. He was a purchasing agent with the PrattWhitney Aircraft. James enjoyed fishing, repairing, and restoring old items. He was preceded in death by his parents James Barlow and Lena McClendon, and ten brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Jean) Imogene Barlow, daughters, Rita Claud and Debi Barlow Gaffey, son, Doug Barlow, grandchildren, Hope Dimmett, Joshua Claud, Cheyenne Gaffey, Brandon Barlow, Brandie Barlow, great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn Dimmett, Megan Dimmett, Lauren Kittrell, Peyton Claud, Zachery Claud, and Logan Claud, great-great-grandchildren, Bailey Kittrell and Riley Kittrell.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 1:00 PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy, with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. The family has invited friends and loved ones to join them at Julie's Place for a meal and fellowship following the memorial service.
