Jane Pate

Jane Pate, age 88 of Morganton, GA, passed away April 25, 2019, at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mrs. Pate was born October 21, 1930, in Akron, OH to the late Alfred Lindsey and Alma Forrester Lindsey. A member of Morganton Baptist Church, Mrs. Pate retired as a teacher after 25 years with the Dekalb County School System. She enjoyed gardening and church work. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Frederick Pate.
Survivors include: daughters, Freda (Jim) Mapes and Darlene (Allen) Storey; sister, Sue Lindsey Queen; grandchildren, Alicia Brady, Amy Voss, Lindsey Duggin, and Mananda Mapes; and great-grandchildren, Tessa Jane Brady and Nora Caroline Voss.
Funeral services: Sunday, April 28, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Morganton Baptist Church with the Pastor Eric Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow in the Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
