Jane Pauline Gentry

Jane Pauline Gentry, age 64 of Alpharetta, Ga., formally of Murphy, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 in Canton, Ga. She was born March 31, 1948 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Burt Christopher Gentry and Zelda Davis Gentry. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: mother, Zelda Davis Gentry, son, Christopher Carrigan, daughters, Paula Carpenter and Carla Malecki, Brothers, Jack Gentry, Berlon Gentry, Wayne Gentry, Melvin Gentry and David Gentry, sister, Marie Dockery, grandchildren, Emma Rose Carpenter, Annbelle Carpenter, Lyla Malecki, Ella Malecki, Ava Malecki and Adam Malecki.

Funeral services: Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Hanging Dog Baptist Church with the Rev. Ned Golden officiating. Music provided by the Golden family. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
