Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mr. Jeffery Clayton Bisnett, age 58, of Blairsville, who passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
Jeffery was born in Miami Beach, Florida, on February 13, 1958, a son of the late Herman Clayton Bisnett, Jr. and Patricia Ann Martin Bisnett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was of the Baptist faith. Jeffery had been preceded in death by his father, Herman Bisnett, Jr.; brother, Donald Bisnett; and paternal grandparents, Herman and Rachel Bisnett; and maternal grandparents, Theodore and Iona Martin.
Surviving family members include his children: daughters, Lisa Jones, of Loganville, Georgia and Kathrin N. Bisnett, of Electra, Alabama; son, Jeffery C. Bisnett, of Loganville; mother and step-father, Patricia Bisnett Smith and John W. Smith; brother, Gregory Bisnett, all of Blairsville; sister, Michelle (William) Kendrick, of Alto, Georgia; three grandchildren: Sophia, Skyla and Shasta Jones; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
